A special type of Haleem / Nihari is made by cutting the legs of a cow, which is known as Nalli Haleem / Nihari in the local language. The way Halim came to India: Many historians say that the arrival of Harisha in India was through the Mughals. Although Harisha came to India during the reign of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, Harisha became very popular. During the reign of Jalauddin Akbar.
